This is my history of my life as an artist and craftsman. I'm making this for my daughters. In my life, I've created a lot of pictures, clothes, baskets, etc. This memoir contains most of my creations. I have pictures of some and only memories of others.

Me and my little brother

Brownie Scout

Portrait of brothers doing "So Big," 1986
When I was in 4th grade I wrote a short story for a Girl Scouts contest and illustrated it with a picture of 4 girls (it was a mystery and they were teenage detectives).
All work copyrighted and may not be used without permission of the artist.

A Memoir
I grew up with 3 brothers in a small small town. We moved to the country when I was five. I was highly allergic to the outdoors. So I developed a passionate interest in books, music and arts and crafts. I spent my summers inside my air-conditioned room reading and making things.
Me and older brothers
"FIrst Grade," Self Portrait, 1986
As I got older, I became more interested in a variety of crafts and arts.
When I was 8, I got a bike. Not a new bike, but one that worked. I learned how to ride and I rode to the library to pick up loads of books and records.
I used to listen to my records of musicals and dance around the living room.

Early Self-Portrait
When I was in kindergarten or first grade, I always drew my pictures with a sun that had a face and pigtails. Early interest in portrait art.
