After graduating from Ball State in 1981, I went to Grad School at IUPUI. My major was Rehabilitative Psychology. I worked with the developmentally disabled, which at the time included indiviuals who were mentally retarded, autistic, or had cerebral palsy or spina bifida. I taught them how to work in a sheltered workshop, such as Goodwill.

I did some art while in school, but was pretty busy working as a Graduate Assistant as well as attending classes.

After graduating with my Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Psychology, I got a job at Goodwill Industries where I worked with disabled  clients .
