I discovered "Gene" sometime in the late 90's. She was conceived in 1995 and I was drawn to her vast array of costumes from her movie career. So I started collecting. And started sewing clothes for her.

Gene played a flapper in the Oscar nominated "Flapper Girl" in 1959.
